Here is my recipe. It’s called rez ‘b halib (translation: rice in milk)
1 qt milk
3/4 cup rice
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 tsp rose water
1/2 tsp orange blossom essence
1 cup cold water
Wash rice well. Boil milk and then add water and rice. Boil 1/2 hour medium flame. Stir well! When thickened add the rest of ingredients. Continue boiling until bubbles break through the pudding. Pour into individual serving dishes. I usually eat it cold, but you can eat it warm as well.
